Interface comments

  • All good, clear and neat.


Model comments

  • Problem with crackling parameter , probably related to web-pd. By porting the model to javascript this should be fixed.

  • The RTSFX sound is not snappy enough (see sound designers comments).

  • Increase granularity and density of crackling and hissing would be good to acheive a more realistic sound.

  • Differenciate left and right channels . Two differnt istances of the same model could be sent to the right and left channels, this would increase the naturalness of the model.

  • It is possible to hear a loop related to the "hissing" parameter (see sound designers comments).


Sound designers comments

  • The basic roar is good, however the hissing control introduces a sense of "looping". Crackling seems more random, but could have a more "snappy" edge like wood cracking in flames. The crackling element is the least realistic.

  • Increase the cycle/randomness of the hissing element, add a "snap" control to introduce that sense of wood burning
